Sincerest apologies for the heavy delays in updating my blog. As you will all soon read, I had a very busy August studying various beaches in Italy, and studying various coffee shops in Amsterdam. But now I'm back in Canada and have a bit more time to share the results of my studies with you.
Let's start in Pesaro. This was my first time visiting the East Coast of Italy during beach season. Pesaro is just south of Rimini, and judging by the view we got from our hotel room, and the number of beach chairs available for rent, it's an equally major beach destination. The beach was endless. Our hotel was beachfront, and so we got settled and headed down to rent our beach chairs for the next three days. Looking back, seeing as we pretty much spent every waking moment on the beach, I'm sure we could have even done without the hotel!
The beach is incredible. The sand is so fine, and the water on the way in was like bathwater. This was likely due to the fact that it was so shallow and that there was a long breakwater protecting the beach.
If you're researching beach holidays in Italy, I'd suggest Pesaro. Why Pesaro? Why not?

Chiedo scusa mille volte per il fatto che non ho scritto un bel niente in questi giorni. Come state per leggere, ho lavorato tanto quest'agosto studiando le spiagge italiane, e i ''coffee shops'' ad Amsterdam. Ma adesso sono tornata in Canada e ho un po' di tempo di raccontarvi tutti i risultati dei miei studi.
Cominciamo a Pesaro. Per me era la prima volta andare al mare del est ad agosto. C'è Rimini, e poi ancora più sud c'è Pesaro. Però visto dalla vista che c'era dall'albergo, e la quantità di lettini, Pesaro è abbastanza famosa come città del mare. La spiaggia non finisce mai. Il nostro albergo era sulla spiaggia, e subito dopo che abbiamo lasciato le valigie là, abbiamo gia noleggiato i lettini per i prossimi tre giorni. Visto che abbiamo passato quasì tutto il tempo sulla spiaggia, direi che non c'era bisogno dell'albergo!
La spiaggia è spettacolare. La sabbia è fine, e l'acqua è come un bagno che secondo me ha da fare con il fatto che l'acqua non è profondo e c'è un frangiflutti (ho appena imparato questa parola!) lungo come la spiaggia.
Se cercate un posto per una vacanza al mare, suggerirei di provare Pesaro. Perchè Pesaro? Perchè no?
